Description

This dataset contains recordings of Yurakaré (Glottolog: yura1255) language classes held by two Yurakaré people, Gerónimo Ballivián and Ascensio Chávez, for speakers of Yurakaré. Yurakaré is a language isolate spoken by around 1.600 people in the Andean foothills of central Bolivia. The classes formed part of a workshop concerning the Yurakaré language organized by the civil organization FUNPROEIB Andes. It was held from July 17 to 22, 2017, in the event location Fátima Don Bosco close to the city of Cochabamba.
