On December 6, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m., the NFDI-Lokalforum@PhilFak is organizing a faculty-independent information event for humanities scholars and members of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities from research, teaching and scientific infrastructure for the first time in the New Senate Hall.

In addition to a presentation of the humanities consortia NFDI4Culture, Text+, NFDI4Memory and NFDI4Objects as well as the local participants and contact persons, the Lokalform offers the opportunity for exchange between faculty members and consortia.

Presentation of consortia I (15 minutes each incl. 5 minutes questions)

NFDI4Culture 
→ Infrastructure for tangible and intangible cultural assets
→ Architecture, art, music, theater, dance, film and media studies

Text+
→ Infrastructure for editions, language and text-based collections and lexical resources
→ Linguistics and literary studies, philosophy, classical philology, anthropology, non-European cultures and languages as well as language and text-based research in the social, economic, political and historical sciences

NFDI4Memory
→ Infrastructure for the historical sciences and humanities
→ Linking researchers working in history, memory institutions and information infrastructures

NFDI4Objects
→ Infrastructure for disciplines dealing with the material heritage of three million years of human and environmental history
→ Focus on artifacts, architecture, archaeological features and anthropogenic landscapes as well as biological or ecological remains
