Another focus of the DCH is on teaching RDM skills and sensitising humanities scholars to the relevance of research data management. In addition to sharing experiences and best practices with colleagues, the topic of research data management is also integrated into the training of young academics at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities: Since 2018, doctoral students at the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne have been offered a workshop lasting several days every semester. Since the 2019 summer semester, an exercise on research data management has been integrated into the Master's degree programmes in Information Processing, Media Informatics and Linguistics.
