HOW TO APPLY - Research data management and third-party funding
When applying for third-party funding, there are many different aspects to consider, write and coordinate. The topic of research data management (RDM) quickly appears to be of secondary importance. Nevertheless, the management of digital research data is becoming an increasingly important component of successful third-party funding applications.
However, adequate, realistic and goal-oriented formulations for handling research data before, during and especially after the end of a project usually require appropriate specialist expertise.
The Data Center for the Humanities (DCH) at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities advises and supports you in formulating the handling of research data in your project:
- We give you constructive feedback on your formulations on RDM,
- work with you to develop clear, project- and needs-oriented data management concepts against the background of subject-specific and institutional conditions and requirements,
- or actively support you during your research project and take over your research data management as part of an application.
Whether it's formulating section 2.4 of a DFG proposal, a complete data management plan for your BMBF proposal or RDM planning for a proposal to another funding body, the DCH will support you according to your needs.
